I. Name
The name of this organization shall be the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
II. Purpose

Committee members are expected to represent the viewpoint of the student athletes on their respective campuses and to serve as a vital communication link between the conference and its student athletes.
A secondary role is to enhance the image of the student-athletes both on campus and in the community. In this manner, the UMAC SAAC is committed to engaging in campus and community service projects and to serving as positive role models for their peers and younger athletes.
Additionally, the UMAC SAAC will seek to promote sports and sporting events on each campus.
