Peterson Headlines POW Awards With Two Honors
UMAC FOOTBALL OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Josh Edlund, Crown College
Edlund carried 25 times for 192 yards and two scores, adding one catch for six yards in Crown's 29-21 win over Westminster. It was the 5th highest single game yardage total for Crown in their NCAA era.
UMAC FOOTBALL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
John Stanley, Greenville College
John had 2 key interceptions in the 4th quarter of their game against Eureka to seal the game for the Panthers.
UMAC FOOTBALL SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Kenneth Jinkins, College of St. Scholastica
Jinkins did it on both sides on special teams in Saturday's victory over Martin Luther. He returned a punt 80 yards for a touchdown (the second-longest punt return in program history). He recorded 103 punt return yards, a single-game program record. Jinkins also had a tackle and a fumble recovery on kickoff coverage.

Bona Usha, University of Minnesota Morris
Usha had a pair of goals in the Cougars 6-0 win over Bethany Lutheran this past week.

Joey Gustafson, University of Wisconsin-Superior
Gustafson had a solid week of defensive play as the Yellowjackets went 2-1 on the week with 2 shutouts.
UMAC WOMEN'S SOCCER OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jordan Skarin, University of Northwestern
Skarin scored six goals this week, earning a quadruple game against Bethany Lutheran on Saturday night in Mankato. Skarin is now tied for second in UNW record books for most goals scored in a game. Skarin's 13 points this year contributed to her 22 point total this season.
UMAC WOMEN'S SOCCER DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Alexandria Paige, University of Wisconsin-Superior
Paige earned her, and the Yellowjackets, their second win of the season in a 3-0 shutout of Crown College. Paige made 4 saves in the match as the Yellowjackets snapped their losing streak.
UMAC MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK
Charles Corbett, University of Wisconsin-Superior
Corbett finished 12th overall at the Blugold Invitational with a time of 25:20. Corbett was 9th amongst DIII runners.
UMAC WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK
Casey Hovland, College of St. Scholastica
Casey Hovland led the Saints at the Blugold Invitational on Friday with a personal-best time of 23:09.3 to finish 22nd overall. Her time was almost two minutes faster than what she posted at that race last year.
UMAC MEN'S GOLF PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Evan Lunda, Northland College
Evan won medalist honors at the Mid Country Bank Classic with a 71 (-1).
UMAC WOMEN'S GOLF PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Paulina Dejamco, Crown College
Dejamco won the Mid Country Bank Classic by 9 strokes on Monday, shooting an 83, then finished T-3rd, just two strokes off the lead with an 88.
UMAC VOLLEYBALL OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Lindsey Peterson, University of Northwestern
Peterson tallied 38 kills this weekend, but her highlight was in the fifth set against Buena Vista University, Peterson killed 6 out of the 8 balls attempted, to lead the Eagles to a victory over the IIAC's leading team.
UMAC VOLLEYBALL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Lindsey Peterson, University of Northwestern
The outside hitter had double digits for 3 of 3 matches this weekend, racking a total of 50. Peterson's 20 digs against Buena Vista University brought the Eagles to a victory over the IIAC's number one team. The sophomore averaged 4.66 digs/set this week.

Brooke Decker, University of Minnesota Morris
Decker had 119 assists and 43 digs on the week and averaged 10.82 digs per set including 48 in a four set win over Wisconsin-Superior. She also had 26 digs in the match with Concordia-Moorhead.
