Northland's Ryan Cannata nets 1,000th point

ASHLAND, Wis. -- Northland College guard Ryan Cannata reached the 1,000-point mark of his collegiate career on Dec. 5th, as the LumberJacks defeated Northwestern College 81-79. The senior netted his milestone point on a free throw with 9:35 left in the game.
Cannata is the 13th player in Northland College history to surpass the 1,000-point plateau. He follows fellow Northland player Lindsey Hamm, who dropped her 1,000th point on Nov. 22, helping the LumberJills win the Dunn's Sporting Goods Tournament.
