PLAYER OF THE WEEK AWARDS


Men's Basketball
Greg Holzhueter - JR | G | Martin Luther College
Martin Luther was ignited by Greg Holzhueter who netted 22 and 23 points on back-to-back nights.  He also averaged 3.5 rebounds per game and dished out five assists.  Holzhueter shot 43 percent from behind the three-point line and nearly 50 percent from the field overall.

Women's Basketball
Erica Babinec - SO | G | Martin Luther College
Erica Babinec electrified the Knights last week as she averaged 18.5 points and six rebounds per game to go along with 14 total steals. Against St. Scholastica alone, she drained 34 points, picked eight steals, and grabbed seven rebounds.

Men's Indoor Track & Field
Justin Hanson - FR | 60m & 200m Hurtles | College of St. Scholastica

Justin Hanson smashed the Saints' record books, breaking records for the 60-meter and 200-meter hurdles with times of 8.81 and 26.74, respectively at the University of Wisconsin-Superior's Blizzard Open.  Hanson was victorious in the 200-meter hurdles race.

Women's Indoor Track & Field
Rachel Miller - FR | Triple Jump | College of St. Scholastica

Rachel Miller won the triple jump competition at the Blizzard Open hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Superior.  Miller's jump of 10.78 meters was not only good enough for first place, but also for a St. Scholastica school record.
