PLAYER OF THE WEEK AWARDS
Men's Basketball
Tommy Saffert - SR | G | Bethany Lutheran College
Tommy Saffert displayed senior leadership in the Vikings' 76-65 rout of Martin Luther College. On Tuesday night, Saffert scored 31 points, making 55 percent of his shots from the floor and draining 6-of-12 attempts from behind the 3-point line.
Women's Basketball
Lindsey Hamm - SR | G | Northland College
The LumberJills came away victorious in UMAC play last week thanks to Lindsey Hamm, who netted 19 points on 4-of-6 shooting from downtown versus St. Scholastica. Hamm also scored 17 points in a loss to UW-Stout. Additionally, the senior added six assists and five steals throughout the week's competition.
Men's Indoor Track & Field
Peter Drinkwine - FR | Triple Jump | College of St. Scholastica
Peter Drinkwine leaped to a personal best 12.86 meters in the triple jump at the Super 8 Open hosted by Bemidji State University. Drinkwine's performance placed him second in the event.
Women's Indoor Track & Field
Tara Connolly - JR | 1000m | College of St. Scholastica
In the Super 8 Open at Bemidji State University, Tara Connolly won the 1,000-meter race with a time of 3:18.08, besting the rest of the field by 10 seconds.
