ST. PAUL -- The College of St. Scholastica swept all three of the UMAC Postseason Tournaments last weekend, winning the men's soccer, women's soccer and volleyball tournament crowns.  The Saints women's soccer team was the only top seed out of the three tournaments, but the men's soccer and volleyball teams, both No. 2 seeds, upset the regular season conference champions on Saturday.

In women's soccer, St. Scholastica bested second-seeded Northland College in a 1-0 final.  CSS's Angie Groh scored the game's only goal, leading her regular season conference champion and NCAA tournament bound team to a victory.

Saturday's men's soccer game was another thriller, as St. Scholastica and top-ranked Minnesota-Morris couldn't decide an outcome in 90 minutes of regulation and two 10-minute overtime periods.  After 110 minutes of play and still no score in the game, the conference tournament champion would be decided by a shootout, where St. Scholastica won 8-7.  Technically, the game ended in a tie, but the Saints left Morris with UMAC Tournament Champion shirts on their back and a trophy in tow.

Moving indoors, Saints senior Rebecca Udermann put the team on her back as she willed St. Scholastica to a five-set victory over No. 1 Northwestern.  Udermann had seven of CSS's 11 kills in the 15-point fifth set, and UMAC Commissioner Corey Bochardt presented the tournament champion trophy to St. Scholastica moments later.
