After sweeping the competition to win their 14th UMAC regular season and tournament championships, the Saints from the College of St. Scholastica claimed six all-conference awards. Katie Motley, who was chosen as the 2010 UMAC Player of the Year, headlined a group of Saints players who all took championship medals home from Saturday’s conference tournament finale.

The College of St. Scholastica won its 14th UMAC Women's Tennis Tournament Championship and its fourth consecutive outright title after sweeping the singles and doubles competition at the Baseline Tennis Center on the University of Minnesota campus.  All three of the Saints' doubles teams won their flights on Friday night to set the stage for a Saturday sweep.

While Mother Nature has been relatively nice this spring, she decided to throw one last curve ball of the season, resulting in the UMAC Softball Tournament being postponed for a day.  The men's and women's tennis tournaments will go on as scheduled.
